We attended a birthday function there where our host booked for 30 people. She was told she would loose her $100 deposit if 1/2 the guests did not attend - which is understandable.
4 people didn't show up to the dinner and our host lost $50.00 out of her deposit. But 26 (majority) DID show and she was still penalised. This is absurd.
To add insult to injury we were told we were not permitted to order entree meals, we had to order a main meal or we would be asked to leave! Why have a menu with entree options if we were not aloud to order them as a meal.
The waitstaff were rude, the maitre d was condesending and dismissive towards us 'twenty somethings' who were questioning the penalty our host was subject to.
I do NOT recommend, unless you want to pay an extra $50.00 for your function and be treated like a child.

We had the squid which was very nice, mussels were delicious and the oysters were fresh and tasty. The three pasta meals were really good as was the stuffed chicken breast. We were served promptly and politely. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. We had a good night.

A night to remember with VG friends! Unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons. It took over 2 hours for our meal to arrive despite at least four requests to wait staff. At least 10 other clients left without their meals whilst we waited. We persisted only to get a meal that was of far less quality than the price indicates - two meals of the same type came back quite different in what was on the plate! The staff did their best to rescue the situation (where were management?) and we were given free meals, alas, we can still not rate this restaurant anything other than - try somewhere else!

We went there a few years ago and remember it to be good. Though after going there last night we will never go back. The food was overpriced and the waitress seemed to be in a terrible mood.
Wouldn't recommend going there to anybody.

Fine Food, Fast service, Friendly atmosphere all at a very reasonable price. Will definately be returning regularly.
Shame about the lumps in the mashed potato.
But we were both very happy.

Dino the manager is a delight in the way he greets his customers, the staff seem really friendly too. I just found that my meal this last time I went was no different than if Id brought a jar of pasta sauce, I was disappointed. Also I dont think there was any air conditioning so it was very hot and sticky.

I took my brother-in-law from Sydney and he enjoyed the food and Italian family-style atmosphere - he joined a song with the owners husband! He'd go there again when he visits Perth.

Savini is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Perth. The food is fanatastic, presentation and taste both great. The service is friendly and good. The owners were fantastic and very friendly. The owners give the restaurant its Italian feel, and I bet have something to say about the meals as they are cooked, because it has a real authentic, Italian taste. Trust me, I've been to Italy, and so far it's the closest.

I went back to this restaurant because I was impressed by the quality of food and outstanding service and ambience.

I am pleased to say that a repeat visit was proved right again! The staff were very friendly, professional and attentive, the food was well presented and cooked to perfection.

Savini is not an inexpensive restaurant, but I would still go there again because you actually get what you pay for. A thumbs up for Savini.

Very disappointed. Used to frequent Savini regularly when food and service both excellent. This was our first visit since the restaurant changed hands a year ago. Two people on our table of six didn't get their main courses and when they did finally arrive (one incomplete) the others had finished their meals.
