The staff at Sassy take pride in creating daily specials that make the most of fresh ideas and ingredients. Although there is a permanent a la carte menu, regulars say it is redundant when faced with the temporary temptations of the blackboard menu. Red brick walls, open fireplaces and timber floors evoke the rich history of the building, but nothing else is dated here.

A NEW FOODY HAVEN
OMG -- what a surprise at this place called sassy. The food, the food, je nais se quoi. Me and my better half went for dinner, and yes there are those fancy joints that leave you well wondering what the!? But Sassy does what a really good eating place should do. It's humble but very confident, as I heared the chef was a big gun we went to investigate. Let's end on saying forget those predictable boring table-clothed places and bring on Sassy in moonee ponds. Yummy

dissapointing
As frequent visitors for a fantastic brunch at sassy we were all excited to have our first dinner. From the moment we walked into the half-filled restaurant no one seemed to know what they were doing. We waited 10 min before we were even able to look at a menu due to there not being enough to go around (again half full). Our "waitress" was rude and appeared annoyed when simple questions were asked of the menu. The pasta and salad dishes were great and well priced, while the fish and beef were over cooked as well as over priced for the quality recieved. Dissapointing night, should have just stuck to brunch.
