Quite the cool little fishmongers, this fresh seafood joint goes beyond the normal fish and chips with a decidedly gourmet selection. The prices are low and the flavours are high at this High Street institution; you'd be hard-pressed to decide between the deep-fried crumbed sardines with aioli, the grilled barramundi baguette with salad, or the chilli and garlic squid (also with a dollop of delicious aioli). Only repeat visits to the Sardine Fish Cafe can solve such pressing dilemmas as these.
