The best restaurant in Adelaide
Stuart Gifford has been feeding Adelaide vegetarians for a long time. I hope it continues just as long. The 'no menu' menu, and the degustation options are fantastic. It is a real pleasure to go to a restaurant and just ask to be fed, rather than scouring a menu for something 'safe' to eat. Really great food, good wines, excellent service. What's not to like?

Upmarket vegetarian cafe making its mark
Sarah's Cafe was originally in Hutt street some years back before setting up down at the Port. Fortunately for all us vegetarians they are now in the city - just off Hindley Street. Basic, fresh menu - plate of the day is $15 or $20 with wine, their mushroom and cheese pie is also great. Food is very fresh (perhaps organic?) however prehaps a little pricey for dish size. Attracting city workers in droves. Bar and music some evenings also. Venue to watch - would be particularly good around Fringe time.
