Sapori di Roma

New to Burwood in 2009, this family-owned Italian restaurant and bar is a pizza and pasta palace for anyone with a weakness for crusts, toppings and sauces. Not just your average pizza joint, Sapori Di Roma mixes a modern vibe with traditional taste sensations, using quality ingredients. Sapori di Roma is a good place to enjoy a full pizza, or perhaps go pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice).

Authentic, Genuine Italian Food Served with an Italian Grin! Great Customer Service! The Best Coffee!!
I am very impressed with the authenticity of the food here. Our food was made from scratch in record time and it was fantastic! I am also very impressed with the service. This restaurant offers quality food without the price tag. It is one of those restaurants that wouldn't leave you walking out with your pocket and stomach empty and you feel like you actually got value for money. When I was eating here, I actually did not feel bad for eating out because it felt like a home-made meal and I felt like I was being offered a meal straight from a home kitchen!

The customer service here is fabulous. You will always get an Italian grin with your meal. It is a family-run business so they really do care about their customers. They make the effort to get to know you.

One of the highlights of my experience was definitely the coffee made by Guido. I have to honestly say that it is the best coffee that I have had so far and I work in the Sydney CBD area and have tried many different coffees made by different baristas. I love it. I also loved the cute little cookies laid out near the front counter.

You must give this restaurant a go - it's marvellous!

Sapori di Roma Review
I am an Italian expat living in Sydney since 1990, and I have been to several Italian restaurants in search of a real good Italian pizza, and I have always been going to pizzerias and restaurants around Leichhardt and Haberfield. A couple of weeks ago a friend recommended me to go to Sapori di Roma, just recently opened in Burwood a couple of months ago. I went last week for Dinner on Friday, and I must say that it was a breath of fresh air for Burwood, as I did definitely feel the "tastes of Rome. When I arrived I was greeted by the nicest person, which after getting to know her she was the owner - She really made me feel welcome, and her service was excellent. We were presented with many recommendations, without being rushed, considering it was relatively busy. Being a pizza lover, we had Pizza and Salad. The Pizza was unbelievable and very traditional as it had limited/reasonable amount of quality topping (that does not kill the taste of the base) and use of Buffalina Mozzarella rather then the yellow mozzarella which most pizzeria's serve which cover the whole pizza. Sapori di Roma will definitely now rival other popular Pizzeria's in Sydney. Delicious real Italian / Roman pasta's and and pizzas, with a family touch, where the whole family were working when we went for dinner. I had their Pizza Special; Wild Mushroom + Porcini Mushroom with Buffalo Mozzarella and Truffle Oil - Fantastico!, Sapori di Roma is definitely a place to visit , and we will definitely be making Sapori di Roma a regular venue to visit.
