Watching owner/chef Santo Rizzo at work in the open kitchen of this authentic Italian restaurant is an absolute pleasure. The passion and skill he puts into each meal is obvious by the concentration visible on his face. The frenetic pace of the kitchen means the food comes hot and fast, be it fresh pasta or something extra special from the al la carte menu. The decor is busy but homely, giving a sense of comfort that complements the friendly and casual approach of the waitstaff. The drinks list includes beer, wine and spirits plus a small number of classic cocktails. From the dessert menu, the house-made tiramisu is worth a special mention.
