Sanders Restaurant provides its patrons with an impressive modern seafood menu in a stunning marina setting. With 270-degree views over Sydney Harbour, waterfront locations don't get much more 'absolute' than this. The salty location inspires a craving for seafood, which is satisfied by such dishes as briny oysters; sticky pork belly with seared scallops and chilli jam; or a seafood-packed bouillabaisse. Boating enthusiasts can moor their vessel at the restaurant while they wine and dine. Alternatively, catch the River Cat - much better than drinking and sailing.

Dramatic improvement
This restaurant has been a local of mine for the last 12 years since its inception. I'll admit that it has had a chequered past, some notable successes and some good stories to laugh at as well now that time has passed.
I've been twice very recently and been wowed by the changes that new management has implemented.
The old floor had a certain charm, with floor boards that allowed a view of the harbour through the cracks, but also a draught that could be very cold in the winter months. A new floor has changed all that, and new glass and plastic around the outlook that does wonders for the view. And what a view, 270 degree uninterupted views of the harbour! New tables, chairs, competent waiters and quality food. The lighting also appeals much more to me than the old down lights they used to have. Thank god I can bring girls here with the expectation of a great atmosphere and a decent feed at a reasonable price. Some might think it expensive but the portions are large and the taste worth remebering. I've got my local back!
