In between communing with the wombats, kangaroos and goannas at the Healesville Sanctuary, you'll need a moment's rest to regain some energy. That's where the zoo's onsite cafe, Sanctuary Harvest, comes in. An unexpected gourmet delight, the cafe sources fresh regional ingredients straight from the Yarra Valley, infusing their salads, soups, pies, sandwiches, and finer a la carte native Oz-influenced offerings, with top produce. Genovese coffees and local wines, beers and ciders are on hand for refreshments, and you're certainly likely to be refreshed after one of the above.
