Salon is a European dining bar with a shareable tapas menu, in a genial and fashionably different style of eatery. In response to the changing tastes of today's diners, Salon offers a range of smaller tasting-style dishes and encourages its guests to share food and order as little or as much as they like.
The menu offers tantalising treats such as steamed black lip mussels with saffron, tomato and basil and for dessert Salon's churros and chocolate sauce. The bold wallpaper and matching cushions create a warm atmosphere, while the light drapes give a luxe touch to what, from the exterior, appears to be a quiet spot on a simple street. The focus here is primarily on quality products and well-cooked simple dishes, which is something welcomed with open arms by those residing by the river in Teneriffe.

WOw... Fabulous Cocktails, Great food and Wonderful Staff
Wow.. the two owner of this place really work hard, nice to see two fellows and their team working so hard and well together.
The food was great, love the idea of share food, we had such a nice long dinner, with quite a few cocktails, and their range of cocktails - wow, very impressive! To finish of our night we had the perfect size cheese plate.
Will return for dinner! Thanks Guys, we had a great night!!

Perhaps an off night!
We used this site to select somewhere different for a special occasion dinner and chose Salon due to its rave reviews but maybe we just went on a really bad night. Everyone in our party agreed that this was the worst restaurant experience we had all ever had. The complaints range from giving our month-in-advance booked table to another party and asking us to sit on the terrace on a very cold night (and yes, blankets helped but who wants one draped around your shoulders all night?),really poor and slow service, forgetting drinks, only laying half the table, losing our order for main courses (after waiting an hour to order), then closing the kitchen, then serving us our entrees agin to compensate, to running out of the wine we were drinking, to tipping a whole bowl of sauce in one of our party's very expensive (and unfortunately open) handbag. People on tables around us were sympathising with us - it was like an episode of Fawlty Towers. Apparently the owner wasn't there that night. But our biggest gripe was the very half hearted apologies, wanting to charge us pretty much full price for the experience, and no offer to clean or replace the handbag. Sorry but this restaurant might be great on a good night but it sure knows how to serve up a really bad night as well!

A birthday to remember!
I recently had my birthday dinner at Salon and had an absolute ball! The food was delightfully artistic and the wines were superb. I strongly encourage anyone looking for a unique dining experience to make their way down to this little gem tucked away in Teneriffe. However, if you are looking for steak and chips, then this restaurant is not for you!

Fantastic restaurant
The service here was fantastic - our waitress (presumably the owner/co-owner) was very friendly, very accomodating and made the night a pleasure.
The food was amazing. The ocean trout tapas was simply supurb. It was the first dish we had and I could have eaten it for days.
Simply an amazing dining experience - will definitely be back, with friends!

An excellent night out
Our group started off in the bar, and two of us braved the highly recommended Paris Mules Gold star on the tasty beverage. When our table was ready, we browsed the menu and liaised with the attentive wait staff, who also knew their menu, which is always a good sign. There were six of us, and between the group we had starters and share plates of 11. You must try the rabbit salad and vegetable risotto balls, and the cod was also a winner. Well done to the team at Salon. I will be back to attempt a breakfast feast. Worst part of the evening was the smoker seated behind me. Inhaling her fumes made me sick.
