This hole-in-the-wall joint in Footscray's Barkly Street has been around since the dawn of time (more or less, if you don't mind a bit of hyperbole) and has been serving up its South Indian delights to growing numbers of devoted fans ever since. Locals reckon the dosa (crisp, crepe-like pancakes made from fermented rice and lentil flour) are sublime although the biryani are almost as popular and just as delicious.
