After opening the original Fremantle Sala Thai in 1993, Singaporean-born brothers Peter and Dickson Tan have opened a second restaurant in Claremont. With the wooden floorboards, white linen table clothes and warm colour scheme, it's pretty much a replica of the Freo eatery. The menu is also very similar offering a variety of tasty Thai treats. The whole fresh fish with sour plum, ginger and herbs is the house specialty and it's hard to go past their fresh mango and sweet sticky rice for dessert.
