Despite referring to their dining space as simply The Kitchen, Saint & Rogue does not disappoint when it comes to warming European-style nosh. Furnished with booths and banquettes beneath an original cathedral ceiling, Saint & Rogue is a traditional public house, offering quiet drinks and a hearty feast.
Chef Raffi Hazmi's menu is reminiscent of a British farmhouse spread - one served to a member of the royal family. Don a tweed jacket and tuck into the roast pheasant with caramelised endive, house-made black pudding, chestnuts and Madeira.
Sides of braised red cabbage and traditional Yorkshire puddings are also on offer, but be sure to leave room for dessert: there are options aplenty that will leave you thinking of the mother country. Choose between the English sherry trifle, custard-topped rhubarb and ginger nut crumble, and the Eton mess. Oh, and there's the warm chocolate fondant with chocolate sorbet, too.

Great little inner city discovery
This is a wonderful place to chill out on a Friday after work drinks. I was recommended here by a workmate and will definitely return for after work drinks again. I had dinner a few weeks ago and must agree with the above review about the food which was a delicious twist on traditional English dishes. My partner is from Wales and loved the place right from the entrance to the last bite of Eton Mess! Sadly most of the dishes above are no longer on the menu but the classic Aussie pub grub is available. Still great nosh and an excellent place to chill-ax!
