With Moroccan lanterns overhead and vibrant paintings of Arabian village life adorning the walls, Saba's Lebanese Restaurant creates an authentic Middle Eastern dining environment. The colourful setting sets a lively tone for groups and families to share conversation and laughter over huge banquets and plenty of wine and Lebanese coffee, followed by a bit of belly dancing on Friday and Saturday nights.
The menu reads in English and Arabic, luring diners with delicacies like the kraydis bi tahina (stir-fried prawns in tangy tahini sauce, plus chillies served with rice and green beans) and jawanih (crispy grilled marinated chicken wings served with a zaatar herb, lemon juice and garlic dressing). For a sweet finish, the baklava, Turkish delight and homemade lemonade all do the trick.
