Ryo's Noodles

Sitting uncomfortably on busy Falcon Street, Ryo's Noodles is worth slinking down a side street to find a park for. Oddly shaped tables fill the small dining area through the welcoming white-symbolled sheets overhanging the front door. The polite staff friendly and fast, providing Japanese and English service; while the kitchen has your meal ready almost as fast as you can read it off the menu. The bustling, cramped space alive with atmosphere is a perfect place to stop for a well-priced meal with friends. Or, if wanting a quick bite alone, you can eat at the bar while watching a lone television turned low. Ramen noodles are a house specialty to try in spicy hot pork soup, Tokyo-style or in soya sauce pork soup. Each dish is tempting and satisfying, and a little extra kick is available on request. Ryo's Noodles isn't licensed, but allows for those packing their own - though there is traditional Japanese tea ever ready for self service at the makeshift bar.

Just like...
Just back from Japan and felt like eating some Ramin again, this is like a lil bit of Kyushu stuck in Crows Nest.

A great little "eat"

Feels Like Back in Japan
In a tiny space you sometimes have to share the table, but this place is good for value. You can see the number of Japanese and Chinese people going, waiting for the seats, you can tell how good they are.
