An extremely family-friendly spot, this pub offers a well-decked-out children's playroom and plenty of kids' meals on the menu. But pretty much everyone else is catered for, too, with sports, live music and a more intimate dining room all on offer. The fare is mostly pub grub, but it's well executed and much loved by the locals, who are also grateful for the salad bar. With good-value lunch specials, it's usually a lively spot day and night.
