You don't go to Rumeli's Restaurant Bar Lounge for a quick meal - you go for a feast! This Sydney Road institution is renowned for its generous banquets of traditional Turkish foods like chicken shish, baklava, Turkish pilav rice, and sac kavurma (a style of diced lamb or chicken served in a wok). On par with the food is the larger-than-life atmosphere, from the live Turkish music and belly dancing to the gigantic beer garden that overlooks the city, Flemington racecourse and Sydney Road.

Rumbling Rumelis!
The best turkish atmosphere ever!
very welcoming familly! and show put on by the familly. very good value for money! a around $35 per person.
i turned up at a birthday party, was only supposed to pop in to wish a happy birthday. but when i walked in and sore the aquarium bar, and the rock walls i was surpirsed to see how trend this place was. then i was wowed by the huge balcony!
we were very impressed with the amount of food. and were surprised to see that everyone received their own meal. where as in most tother restaurants everyone has to share from the middle of the table. and some people go hungry...
we wernt told we were going to be dancing and we were a little under dressed.
the belly dancers were on for a while. 3 of them!
although their were around 250 people the atmosphere was very cosy and non intimidating. not being turkish myself i found that we fit in just fine.
ill be recoming this place to al my familly and friends. and will try to get my work function happening here.
A+ from me!
