Double the 'R's and double the fun, that's the mantra of Rrose Bar in North Melbourne. Named after the cheeky alias of French artist Marcel Duchamp, Rrose Selavy (a play on the phrase "Eros, c'est la vie", or "Love, that's life"), Rrose Bar celebrates the good things in life, like cocktails, wines, antipasto and, of course, the company of good friends. Designed to share among groups, the menu is divided into a series of fresh gourmet platters of dips, pates, charcuterie, cheese, and vegetable antipasto. The seasonally based cocktail list also offers up frequent surprises, all of which can be enjoyed on the cosy lounges inside or around the wooden tables in the courtyard.
