There's something magical about the food of the French - perhaps it's the fact they can create some of the world's best cuisine even out of snails and amphibians. Whatever the source, that ethereal French quality is never more present than in the humble crepe.

Enter Michel, the owner and master of crepes at Roule Galette. With almost 50 different types of crepes and galettes in his arsenal, you're bound to find something sweet or savoury to tickle your fancy. The Normande flambee (braised apple and cooked with Calvados brandy) is a standout among the crepe offerings, while it's hard to go past the chevre galette (goat's cheese) if you feel like something savoury.
