Named after one of the famous traditional Indian breads on the menu, Roti Indian Restaurant strives to create an authentic experience that's much more than just pappadums and curries. On the traditional side, Roti does some of the favourites in beef, lamb, vegetarian and seafood dishes, cooked in Tandoori, vindaloo, korma, mango, butter, tikka masala and other styles. But Roti also pride itself on its specialty dishes, including the Roti mixed platter, featuring samosa, pakora, lamb cutlets and a special sauce, or the Roti prawn Malai curry, with green prawns bathed in coconut cream and a seafood masala. It's a good option for North Shore diners who want value for money, especially with the takeaway and home delivery deals offered to families, students, pensioners and seniors - though you'd be missing out on the dine-in background sounds of Bollywood music.
