Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior; this quaint little restaurant in Sydney's west is a cracker, and the locals have been keeping it a secret for way too long.
There may be a lack of style in the decor, but the food here speaks for itself. Specialising in traditional Chinese cuisine, the talented chefs produce an amazing array of melt-in-your-mouth delicacies that arrive at the table piping hot and beautifully presented. A fully stocked bar serves a small number of respectable wines and chilled local beers.
The highlights would have to be the crispy deep-fried dim sims with house-made dipping sauce and the delectably soft and spicy salt and pepper squid. Some places in town charge three times the price for nosh half the quality that this little gem produces. Take a friend and an empty stomach, and enjoy.
