Rocking up on the trendy Salamanca waterfront, Rockwall Bar and Grill brings steak, seafood and sweet desserts to its Battery Point locale. Taking the place of Mummaluka Bar-B-Que, this restaurant serves up ribs and grill fare including a nourishing scotch fillet and a juicy pork rack, along with a fish frenzy from quail to Atlantic salmon. Desserts like the Turkish Delight pannacotta can be complemented by fortified and dessert wines, sweetening up the menu.

Never again!
Have been to Rockwall twice now - each dinner session about 6 months apart. Must say very dissapointing. Although the food is o.k. the menu has not changed at all. The menu is very much a winter type menu and needs a change. The service altogether was absolutely disgraceful. Staff appear to have had no or very little training and one in particular had a very BAD attitude - enough so that we will not be returning to this restaurant. What makes this worse is that the owners of the restuarant work the floor as well thus you would expect them to have a much better idea of what is happening in their own surroundings but obviously this is not the case. Agree with previous review that there is a lot of competition in this restaurant's class and certainly has no edge to distinguish itself with.

Uninspired.
Usually I allow at least 2 dishes to be unsatisfactory. This time, of 4 dishes, all were boring.5 if you include the fluffy white bread.Nothing wrong with them but if I'd made these dishes at home, I would have tasted and thought "hmmm, this needs something".
A potentially ameliorating factor is their focus on grill; neither of us had grill choices.
Also, we usually have at least 4 wines by the glass. The choices were very limited, though the wines were fair, on average.
This restaurant has a lot of competition in its class. It offered nothing to distinguish itself. I'm afraid we will be attending the competition.
