This restaurant, part of the Intercontinental Adelaide and overlooking the beautiful River Torrens, was named best specialty restaurant in the 2010 Restaurant and Catering SA Awards for Excellence for its nouveau French/mod-Oz/Mediterranean cuisine.
Its midweek buffets are a treat, with Barossa slow food on Monday and Tuesday nights and a French theme on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Try the lamb shanks with polenta for mains, and the rhubarb and almond tart for dessert. For fine dining in the city's centre, this place is a real treat.
