Taking over the space of David Rayner's seminal River House restaurant, Nooseville's latest modern diner has some big shoes to fill. Luckily, chef and owner Marc Wohner appears more than up to the challenge.
The menu at River Cottage changes daily depending on the seasonality, market produce and the whims of the chef. Expect to see modern and innovative cuisine from Wohner with a heavy slant towards local produce, anything from Noosa spanner crab salad to tea-smoked duck breast with Moreton Bay bugs.
