Ristorante Trevi is an award-winning Italian restaurant run by the Cagliostro family. Set in the heart of Penrith, this restaurant/bar serves up the perennially popular pizza, pasta and tapas in a mix of traditional and modern styles. The signature dish is lamb marinated in Corona (the Mexican beer) and served with vegies and mash. After your meal you can kick back in the cocktail bar with one of their many signature cocktails or an imported grape blend.

The Best Restaurant this side of Sydney city
Exceptional. The online reviews do not do it justice. The best restaurant in Penrith, if not the entire Western Suburbs of Sydney. From the service to the food to the venue. It's a simple and understated venue, but with a pleasant ambiance and spotless presentation. The senior waitress was a true professional - her service was very attentive and well-versed. The food was the real star, a delight with ever morsel - particularly the desserts. I will be back and so will my whole family!

Saturday Evening Dinner (first experience)
Four of us booked previous day for Saturday evening. A staff member rang us at home on the Saturday morning to confirm our booking was still wanted. We arrived five minutes later than our arranged booking time. We were greeted by very pleasant and smartly dressed staff who immediately took us to our table. Everywhere looked fresh and clean. We were given menus promptly and ordered drinks. These were served quickly including glasses of water, which were brought without us having to request them. We were allowed time to decide on our orders. We each ordered separate main choices. These were all delivered together, fresh, hot and appetising. The dishes were excellent, well prepared and flavoursome. The four desserts were a delight, followed by coffees and mints for two of us (as ordered). The atmosphere was very pleasant and the absence of background music was a pleasant surprise too as, many times, the music in restaurants tends to be anything but background and the choice of suitable material can be questionable. Staff were, at all times, pleasant and attentive without becoming intrusive. We took as much time as we needed yet we were able to leave by 9:00pm. It was a delightful first experience for the four of us and one we intend to repeat in the not too distant future. We will happily recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
