While things have changed in the area around Rigoni's and even the restaurant itself has changed hands, this Adelaide stalwart continues to retain its charming essence. Thankfully for the legions of devoted regulars, the alterations have been more along the lines of a mild facial rather than an extreme makeover. A lick of paint has freshened up the space without losing the casual, homely ambience. The kitchen serves up casual pastas, salads and light meals at lunchtime, turning up the formality just slightly for the a la carte dinner service. Diners can look forward to tried-and-tested favourites such as the seafood-laden spaghetti tutto mare.

dinner at rigonis
i was looking forward to a nice meal for xmas. i was extremely disappinted with the food, the menu was very limited and offered no traditional italian dishes. the service was average which I dont mind if it offset with good food. i would not recommend this resturaunt and I felt thoroughly disappointed after the meal.

Delicious
This is our second time here. The first time the food was fabulous but the service was too overly rushed and chatty by a waitress who said she couldn't wait to get out of there and even cleared or attempted to clear plates before we'd finished.
This experience was the polar opposite. The BYO option is what appeals to us although they have a really reasonably priced wine list. Our waiter was fantastic and friendly and astute and highly professional.
...and once again the food was beyond fabulous. I highly recommend the Tiramasu - I've never had a better one than here.

Fantastic!
I went to Rigoni's for my Christmas dinner and is now on my top 5 list! The menu catered for all tastes and budgets and the dishes were so tasty. The service by our waiter was prompt, knowlegable and very friendly. When i walked into the restaurant i felt very comfortable and welcomed. Well done Rigoni's, we will be back...

Disappointed
Was looking forward to lunch but it was a major letdown. All of the pasta dishes were small and unappealing. The fettucine was not cooked, the braised rabbit shredded and bland and the gnocchi similarly of poor texture and taste. All of the wine by the glass was overpriced.

It's Back
Really enjoyed going back to Rigoni's after such a long break: food and atmosphere were as I remember and the service was fine but not memorable.
