"Meet me at Rifo's for coffee" is the tagline outside of this vibrant venue that's always abuzz with activity. Following on from its flagship establishment in Maylands, this East Victoria Park cafe, restaurant and bar greets patrons with a distinctive palette of dark reds and oranges, from the awning overhanging the footpath dining area to the warmly lit interiors, showing off tomato-red walls and upside down conical orange lights.
Once inside this Italian eatery, it's clear that they offer a lot more than just a cuppa. Everything gets a look-in, from big all-day breakfasts such as the Pavarotti combo of bacon, eggs, chipolatas, mushrooms, baked beans, hash browns, tomatoes, spinach and toast, to a huge selection of home-style beef, chicken and seafood dishes and traditional gourmet pizzas, pastas and risottos. Keeping it casual, it's not unheard of to grab a beer or swish a wine down here as well.

Good Spot
Have been to Rifo's a couple of times and have been impressed with the friendly service and the quality of the food. One of the things I like about Rifo's is that their kitchen is open at the front so you can see what is going on. The servings are a good size. The only thing I was a bit unhappy about was the serving of latte in a glass with no serviette to hold the hot glass with. (although I have more of a problem with whoever it was that thought serving hot drinks in a glass was a good idea in the first place)
