Ricky's is the brand-spanking reincarnation of the institutional Ricky Ricardo's, which closed briefly to a chorus of sighs from Queenslanders. The team behind Ricky's combines new and old faces, with old hand Marc Wohner slipping back into position behind Ricky's pans, joining forces with the new owners to create a stylish modern dining experience. The space itself has been schmicked up, taking advantage of the riverside location, of course, and offsetting the bright and perky water views with moody counterpoints of soft lighting and sultry textures.

Wow
Ricky's is my favourite restaurant from its friendly staff to the delicious food freshly prepared. The staff all know us and are all friendly when we go there. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody!

great food, great service
This was my favourite place to eat in noosa. We got seated by the window to see the sunsetting over the river. Service was excellent as was the food. We were served promptly and felt we got good value for money.

Fantastic
Couldn't fault any thing at all... apart from the dark night blocking the gourgous view that I knew was out there.
Friendly and attentive service, not stuffy, but professional.
Food was faultless and imaginative. A pleasure to eat. Definitely worth leaving Hastings Street for.

Pity about the food
Such a great setting, pity the food is just like so many other places in Noosa. The setting is great but to take advantage next time I am going for lunch. Service seems knowledgeable.

Ricky's is baaaack!
Went on a recommendation and passing it on. A great relaxed and casual but not offhand place. Food was good - tapas of the night was stunning and definitely worth the visit. We missed the view, but in daylight this place would be worth curling up in for a few lost hours.

Best experience of our trip
This restaurant was the best meal of our trip to Australia. The location and design is stunning! Food is amazing, especially the passionfruit souffle and the tapas. Right on the water's edge, you can't beat it. Friendliest and most attentive staff, yet casual atmosphere. Australia at its best! It is well worth the taxi ride from Hastings Street. Can't recommend it enough. Thanks for a brilliant meal!

There are good restaurants in Noosa
And Ricky's is one of them. For starters we elected to have a few tapas each and it was a good selection - indeed we could have just kept on with the tapas. The main which was a large portion of the spanner crab entree was missing something (a little cream perhaps?). The desserts fantastic. Would love to return but we don't go to Noosa that often.

Great
Visited Noosa this month (Feb 07) and dined at Ricky's twice. The quality of the restaurants I dined at in Noosa were great - no duds at all - but Ricky's was just ahead in all respects. Nice location, layout, service was great. And the food was superb. Five stars on all counts and I'm tough to please.
