Taking pride of place in Richmond's Bridge Road shopping district, the Richmond Hill Cafe & Larder has been providing locals with a range of stunningly simple food for more than 10 years now. Under the surface of the casual cafe setting, with its woven wicker seats, four-seater tables and polished wooden floors, runs a well-oiled hospitality machine. This is one place that is passionate about its food and service.
And what of the food served by the aforementioned wait staff? The cafe serves a selection of dishes with a strong leaning towards the Mediterranean regions, specifically regional France and Italy. The menu is very much market driven and so differs from season to season.
Richmond Hill Cafe & Larder also has a strong bond with all things bread, wine and cheese. The folks at the RHC&L are so passionate about these things that they have a room dedicated to the sale of both bread and cheese, and use all their own fresh products in their food. Their staff members are knowledgeable and happy to share a snippet or two of relevant knowledge with you.

Love this place
Every time we come to Melbourne, we visit the RHCL.
Incredible food, waiters are fun, cheese room is worth the airline flight alone.
Bring your money with you - not because its expensive, but there is so much to enjoy

Busy Sunday morning
Had to wait for 30 minutes for a table on Sunday morning but it was worth it. The food was excellent and didn't have to wait long despite the full house. The pancakes were delicious. Service should have been better.
