I love this place
I've tried a few of the meals on the menu but the thing that keeps bringing me back is the pho (traditional Vietnamese beef soup) I'm a self confessed pho addict and have tried almost every Vietnamese restaurant in civic or north side of Canberra, and this if by far the best there is! You can really tell the difference and everything tastes fresh and delicious.

Most of the staff are great, they remember me and my particular requests each time. On average I'd say I eat there at least once a month and have never been disappointed, bringing different friends and family each time.

Anybody that suggests the food isn't "traditional" is clearly not looking at the menu properly and doesn't understand how most asian style banquets work - there is an entire page devoted to traditional vietnamese meals and I'm offended on their behalf at the suggestion!

Bad banquet
This turned out to be a bad choice for a work farewell - 10 people found that the dishes were very small both in size and quality and we were charged extra when we requested more food - prompting us to complain to management who also rejected our suggestion that the food was not truly vietnamese and that the additional charges were unfair. Avoid this place and walk a few extra meters to Happy's (or even Sammy's) for a much better meal. (P.S. I have no financial interest in either place).

Great service, pretty good food and cold drafts
The title says it all: don't sit near the windows or door in winter. The staff are great with continually shutting the door as patrons arrive or leave but they need a new door.
The food is excellent, with lots of traditional and modern Vietnamese dishes and the staff are upbeat and friendly.
Avoid the house wine.
