This newborn member of the Phoenix restaurant family is no tiny infant - the massive space holds a whopping 500 people and is operating with the combined wisdom and experience of its three successful siblings behind it. As with Hilltop Phoenix, Rhodes operates out of a shopping centre and is conveniently positioned to catch the hordes of starving shoppers - their drained faces lighting up at the thought of excellent yum cha after a spending blitz in Ikea. Alongside the yum cha lunch, Rhodes Phoenix also offers an a la carte menu, bulging with Chinese favourites, for both lunch and dinner.

acceptable
I've heard good things about this place so I decided to try it out. I was rather let down by the atmosphere, it seems very dull and not lively. The food was acceptable. Staff were friendly, but they got very annoying when you declined what they had on offer on their trolley. Bit more expensive than I expected. Overall it was an average experience. I will return, but i'm in no hurry

Yum Cha
My sister booked for the whole family for a yum cha. We started getting some food that were passing around and nothing that I really like. The taste of the food were really awful, some food that are supposed to be hot were cold. I started commented that the food are really tasteless and we got the bill, I was really shocked of the bill that we paid. If we just go to any yumcha in the City maybe the bill will just be half. I said to my family this is my first and last to eat here. The service is appalling and waiters were grumpy. The parking that time is upsetting, we circling for nealy 30mins just to find parking. The only thing that I really like is the complex. It's new.

Del-i-cious
Food tasted great, was quick to serve and at a reasonable price. Only one flaw - they constantly were clearing the table, which gave off a "please leave asap" vibe.

Fresh, crisp & healthy
I was here three weeks ago for yum cha and was impressed with the variety and textures of dim sums. Came back tonight to try the dinner menu & was equally impressed with the steamed fish, wok-cooked food & the hot-pots. Very spacious & not too noisy. Great service. Prices very reasonable. Food is excellent! The scallop & beef fillet cubes in three-cup sauce hot pot is a tasty combination - turf & surf?

Valentine's Day Disaster
Our planned Valentine's Day evening dining experience was extremely disappointing at Rhodes Phoenix. Our drinks arrived 30 minutes after we first ordered it (after a follow-up) and our food arrived over an hour after we ordered then arrived one dish at a time.

Rhodes Phoenix
Food was overcooked and there wasn't much choice. For Chinese choices, lacking traditional foods, too much fried food.
Service was nothing, compared to other bustling yum cha Chinese restaurants. No atmosphere at all, despite the alluring dark decor.
