A simple, humble look dominated by brick and pine, with white and brown tablecloths and wooden bistro-style chairs greets you on entry at this Windsor eatery. Sure, it's not glamorous or obnoxiously loud and look-at-me modern, but young chef Jarryd Faint's very own eatery (he opened doors in 2011 at the ripe old age of 20) is a knockout food-wise.
The menu is full of contemporary takes on seafood, steaks and protein-dominated classics, with a few vego and gluten-free options in there, too. It's constantly changing, fresh, innovative stuff, and the Windsor crowd are lapping it right up. By all accounts, the chocolate tasting plate is not to be missed, but rather than the highlight, it's more likely to be the cherry on top of an already pretty darn amazing meal. Check it out before Faint is too in-demand to cook for you.
