Redsalt

Redsalt's lean, sleek decor, pretty garden views and conspicuous lack of over-stuffed chairs belie the negative assumptions made about hotel restaurants. During the week, the restaurant specialises in simple grilled cuisine from an a la carte menu. However, on Friday and Saturday nights, Redsalt embraces the good old-fashioned hotel-style buffet, setting out a colourful feast of seafood. Bookings are recommended for this popular weekend event, as diners enthusiastically tuck into artfully arranged platters of lobsters, prawns and oysters, made-to-order seafood stir-fries and enormous salads.

Average meal, average service
We went here thinking we would have a really nice dinner. There was hardly anyone there and heaps of staff, despite this service was not up to scratch. The food was not exciting either, not even interesting. I won't return.

Seafood Smorgasboard
Possibly the laziest chefs I have ever seen. Very little variety with prawns, oysters and sushi/nori rolls. The bae-maries were either empty for long periods with the waygu beef and fish grossly overcooked.
The only saving grace was the dessert range. This was excellent and can be recommended.
