If you're the type of person who enjoys a no-fuss, traditional Indian-style meal, then this restaurant is for you. With fragrant tandooris, curries and a wicked butter chicken, it's also a great takeaway option for hectic weeknights. As far as the desserts go, try the authentic Indian Gulab Jamun sweet milk dumplings: they are homemade and melt in your mouth. Mains average at around $17 and the generous serving sizes means there's plenty to share.

Dinner Saturday night
Food was great (had buffet), service wasn't too bad though we did order water three times and it never arrived, waitress did tell us they were very busy, even though everyone at the whole resturant had water but us :( Atmosphere wasn't too bad either, I rather enjoyed everything.

Was disappointed
We decided to dine here after being here a couple of times as a takeaway, which we were happy with. Our dine-in experience was not so good however. Don't get me wrong, the food was nice, but there was a couple of problems elsewhere. We ordered our drinks & food & waited for over 20 mins for the drinks to arrive. When they did the waitress spilled one all over our table, whoops accidents happen no big deal, we just moved tables. Only one person ordered starters which were brought out after 30 mins from ordering. The mains finally arrived almost 1 hour after we ordered, a little slow considering there were only about 12 people dining in the restaurant. But to be fair there was a number of takeaway orders going. The other problem we had was the person who ordered the beef dish was given a chicken dish & vice versa. Problem being the person who ordered the beef does not eat chicken at all! so she wasn't impressed. In summary the food was mostly very nice. But on the night we were there, there was just too many whoops with the service.

Try the banquet
The banquet deal is worth it: an all-you-can-eat buffet, with a great variety of hot dishes, condiments, breads, and salads. You don't need to share a meal with a dozen friends to taste all the nice things on the menu.
