Red Rhumba has added some pizzazz to suburban Malvern with a zesty menu, which includes cevapcici with buttered kipfler potatoes and broad beans, accompanied by a feta and yoghurt sauce, and a sensational chicken burger with peach relish and coriander coleslaw. Mostly a breakfast and lunch concern, the cafe can be hired out in the evening for functions.

Our Weekly Ritual
For over a year now my husband and I have been going to Red Rhumba for our Saturday breakfast. The only week we have missed is when we were in hospital having just had our baby girl. We absolutely love the food and the staff! We have sampled almost everything on the menu and it is all delicious! We love our cafes and before discovering Red Rhumba we tried a different one every week - now we don't go anywhere else. The service is outstanding; walking in to find your table waiting and your coffees on the way because you were spotted parking the car, is really something special. We can't recommend Red Rhumba highly enough.

Our local secret
We have been going to Red Rhumba for a few years, initially we started going there because my husband liked the quick coffee service in the mornings on the way to work, but now we swear by it. The consistency of the place is amazing, the food, and service are always the same, great! Our favorite for breakfast is the Poached Pot ( with the poached eggs, crispy bacon, cheese, holandaise, spinach and potatoes ) its the best. And last time we were there we had lunch,I had the prawn dish and my husband had beef burger. All the food was hot, fresh and very tasty, their home made chutney was delicious. For dessert we tried a cake, also made there and very tasty and a big piece. Overall the place well deserves the awards it has gotten and we will definately be back for more.
