Red Lemon


Though offering brekkie, light lunches (think toasted sandwiches, quiches, soups and salads) and a range of 'old favourites' (crumpets with honey, baked beans on toast and peanut butter and banana sandwiches), the real highlight here is the pierogi. These Polish-style dumplings are filled with meat, potato and cheese, or mushroom and cabbage, and should definitely be enjoyed with one of the specialty vodkas on offer. The fuschia-painted interior has beautiful early twentieth century art crowding the walls and scuffed leather couches pulled round a low tiled table, in addition to the upright tables and alfresco seating.
