Punjabi cuisine is characterised by a liberal use of onions, garlic, ginger and fresh herbs and spices, with the most popular styles including tandoori and Amritsari. Across Brisbane, the Rangla Punjab restaurants deliver these authentic flavours in both familiar and lesser-known dishes. From the former category, you'll find favourites such as chicken tikka, lamb Madras and vegetable biryani, and in the latter, specialties such as fish Amritsari (a fragrant North Indian curry), balti goshat (a masala-spiced curry) and even mango beef and lamb (we all know mango chicken, so why not try it with other meats?).
