Beautiful Venue
Myself and my mother went here for lunch today for a belated Mothers Day celebration. It was such a lovely day we took the opportunity to sit outside, we were directed to a table in the shade. Unfortunately not that long after, the sun came over and we were sitting in the sun. We asked to move to another table in the shade (there was plenty), however the head waitress complained that we'd be taking up a table for 4 if we were to move and although she relented (after alot of sighing on her part) she allowed us to move tables. It really put a damper on what would have been an otherwise perfect day. Venue/gardens are beautiful and food is really nice, younger waitresses were lovely and polite.

Very disappointed, will never go here again!
Living in the area, we decided to visit Ramon's for dinner on Mothers' Day. We all were extremely disappointed. The food was overpriced. My brother and I both had steaks, served only with a small amount of potato - I asked for mash and they were really reluctant to organise, but eventually said yes. The steaks were disgusting - tiny portions, full of gristle and tough. We could both only eat about 1/4 of it - the rest was inedible. My mother, dad and daughter also had very disappointing meals - very small with large prices. My mother could not eat her meal either. I was really embarrassed, as I had suggested the place. It does have lovely grounds, but it was night-time, and you could not see outside, and the inside was nothing special. I would not go there again, and would not recommend it - really horrible!

Great venue
Great food and service. Huge selection to choose from. Desserts are a must have. Good place for a group as it's not too noisy so you can hear each other speak.
