Rajbhog translates to 'royal feast', and that's what the owners of this family-run restaurant aim to provide, taking the best of northern Indian and Gujarati dishes to compile their long menu.
Gujarati food, which is a mainly vegetarian cuisine from India's west, ensures non-meat eaters and even vegans have a wealth of tasty options to choose from. Oondiya is a traditional dish of spiced mixed vegetables served in a coconut and peanut sauce, while bagare baingan is a serving of eggplant tossed in a tangy sesame and tamarind gravy.
Carnivores will find some familiar friends among the likes of lamb rogan josh and chicken korma. On Sundays the restaurant puts on a special banquet lunch of Gujarati and chat (snack) dishes served as sharing plates for a set price per person.
