Raj on Taj are justifiably proud of their naan breads, but that is not the only reason to put this restaurant on your list of budget favourites. Tender meats melt in fragrant curries and the tandoor oven produces delicious offerings - and it is all incredibly good value.

Great food, very loud, waiter was rude
Definitely great food. We had 13 people and the service was fast. Good atmosphere but very loud, hard to hear people across the table.
Myself and a friend were the only 2 not having the banquet as we are vegetarian. Firstly the waiter told the 2 of us that we would have to sit in the corner of the table!? All 13 of us were already seated so we stayed where we were. We then asked for a banquet for 9, instead of 11 in order to prevent food wastage. The waiter told us that would not be possible as the banquet dishes were "non-sharable". So we ordered banquet for 11. Needless to say, not one dish was "non-sharable", in fact they all came in large dishes that had to be shared, and we ended up with a lot of food left over.

Hidden Gem
This blink-and-you'll-miss-it place is a real find. Fabulous food, amazing atmosphere, very resaonably priced and BYO. Love it!!!!

Raj on Taj, King William Rd
The food is always brilliantly prepared and never fails to meet my expectations. I would highly recommend the butter chicken with some steamed rice and garlic naan :)
