Rag and Famish Hotel


Getting an edge in on the lunchtime competition, this cosy hotel starts serving their famous Famish pies as early as 10.30am, tempting punters with their alluringly crispy pastry lids and rich fillings. The rest of the bistro follows suit at 11.30am, offering great-value traditional pub grub of hunger-slaying proportions.

The fare on offer is simple but prepared with flair, and it incorporates enough variety to cover a spectrum of fussy-to-semi-discerning diner. Quash your appetite with a generous serve of ol' favourite bangers and mash with peas and gravy, or opt for a serve of grilled ocean trout with tomato salsa. The mixed tasting plate is an excellent grazing option for those enjoying a casual drink in the sophisticated Chesterfield Lounge.
