Overlooking the palm trees that overlap an endless horizon, R Bar Restaurant creates a cosy, high-roofed enclave that frames the sunset for lucky diners. Inside, warm lighting sets the 300-year-old timbers of the feature bar aglow as patrons perch on stools or lounges to nibble on tapas, or gather around tables for more formal fare.
These pleasures can be savoured from lunch to dinner, where the modern Australian-meets-European cuisine is served across all-day lunches, evening tapas and hearty dinnertime fare. Vying for diners' attention are mains such as Meredith Farm lamb rack glazed with honey and ginger, seafood linguini, and peppered premium Black Angus rib eye steak.
