There's no disputing that Simon Westcombe has the Midas touch when it comes to cafes. As further proof, he has opened yet another instant classic.
The formula at this one remains much the same as his previous successes: Knick-knack vintage touches provide the surrounds for a coffee-centric menu. The bean of choice is Genovese, handled, as always, by baristas who know what they are doing. Westcombe's meteoric success may result in a formula that leans toward generic, but like the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
