Quan Thanh

Though simple and inexpensive, Quan Thanh is more than impressive when it comes to the food. While it may look slightly out of place among the other restaurants of Brisbane's trendy West End, you will struggle to find more authentic, fresh or interesting Vietnamese food. With the perfect combination of fresh herbs and subtle spices, highlights of the menu include the wide selection of traditional, light soups as well as the fun, though slightly messy, pork and vegetable wraps.

Great food, great value!
Been here quiet a few times, I love the grilled chicken vermicelli noodles YUM! really cheap meals and haven't been disaponted yet in the years I have been going.
Only thing that isn't great is the service, the meals never seem to come out at the same time so I wouldnt suggest waiting for all the other meals to come out before you chow down!

Hardgrave's Finest
I wish restaurateurs in Brisbane would take a good look at this establishment and realise what the people want. There is a reason this place is perenially packed.

Food choice is extensive, nearly all delicious, quick to the table and at $10 to $15 for a main very, very reasonable.

I am sick and tired of paying $35 or more for a disappointing main, with poor service (a QLD standard) at some of Brisbane's more "refined" dining institutions. What a waste of time!

Take a trip here, if you enjoy vietnamese food your not to fussy about spartan decor and over the top impasto paintings you'll have a good night. :)

I love this viet restaurant. Their pho beef noodle soup is yumm, big serving and good value for money! Of all the viet restaurants at Hardgrave Rd, this is the best :)

Great Authentic Meal
Being Vietnamese and knowing the food, I was very happy with the authenticity of the meals at this restaurant.

I brought my friends along as they are heading off to on a holiday and they wanted to taste the flavours of Vietnam.

I was happy to see that the menu had a variety of the different types of food that Vietnam has to offer.

Both Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese customers were impressed with the overall experience of this restaurant.

You can always rely on Quan Thanh for good Vietnamese or Chinese food. Quality is certainly above the usual offerings. Good family choice.

Great Pho
As a pho addict, since my visit to vietnam last year I've been on the hunt for brissy's best bowl of pho and so far the spicy hue pork and beef soup at Quan Thanh is the leading contender. At $8.50 I believe it ranks as one of the best cheapest meals in a bowl. The soup is suitably spicy with lots of noodles, meat and comes with the usual fresh sprouts, lemon and herbs to add. My partner is more a chinese food fan and always enjoys his choices. The restaurant is byo, casual with a buzzy atmosphere so great for a cheap yet delicious meal out.

Great food
Food was great, the Claypot fish was unbelievable. This was our first visit and most definitely will not be our last. It did take us a while to place our order but the restaurant was overflowing on the night we were there. The food came out in good time. It was very tasty and not at all expensive. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Quan Thanh
Save your expenditure on flights and just come here for lunch everyday for a year, the bustling atmosphere, the baskets of condiments and cutlery on the table, the stuggling potted plants on the outside eating area, and the steaming bowls of wonderful Pho with lashings of sprouts and herbs......a little Than Pho Ho Chi Minh is found here in West End Brisbane.
