The Perfect Business Lunch
I recently had the pleasure of attending a business lunch at the Quadrant Restaurant in the Quay Grand Hotel, Circular Quay, Sydney. The food and service were both excellent. The wait staff were very attentive and greeted us immediately when we arrived. We were then led to a table by the floor to ceiling windows where the view of the Quay, Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour were spectacular. After perusing the menu I was pleasantly surprised, although not cheap, the prices were reasonable considering the harbour view location and the standard of food. None of our party were drinking so we didn t order any wine however I had a quick scan of the wine list and again was not put off by over escalated prices. I ordered the lamb fillet on a bed of cannellini bean puree with zucchini pearls which was perfectly cooked and delicious! My colleagues ordered the steak and the pumpkin, pine nut and orzo risotto and both raved about their meal. Overall, it was a great Sydney dining experience. The food, the location and the view were all outstanding. I will definitely go back and look forward to visiting for dinner and taking in the city lights.
