It's no secret that Sydney's inner west is beyond its saturation point of Thai eateries with a new restaurant opening on every street corner, but every now and then a diamond shines among the coal.
This is one such gem: a humble eatery that opened to virtually no fanfare but has steadily built a large and loyal fan base among local gourmands for its fresh take on traditional dishes and quirky additions to the specials menu.
The space is clean and it really is the food here that shines, with such great fare including the Thai interpretation of the Japanese classic sukiyaki - a hot pot dish featuring thinly sliced meat and vegetables simmered in a sour broth then dipped into a spicy chilli sauce.
