Not just a catchy name, Pulse represents all the key ingredients which go into making this such a hotspot among locals and commuters alike.
First off, the most obvious: being located right next St George Hospital means that pulses are something most of the stethoscope-adorned clientele are used to dealing with.
Second, just like a human pulse tells you a lot about the person, this cafe is a fairly accurate barometer of how the hospital is travelling. If the doctors are already ordering double espressos, things aren't running smoothly.
Third, the healthy lunchtime options will help keep your pulse in check, while the strong Toby's estate espresso coffee is a good way to get your pulse racing.
