Provincia, a smart-looking Italian restaurant on Victoria Avenue, is the baby of Andrea Faraone (ex-Caffe E Cucina, Termini and Il Solito Posto). This restaurant takes advantage of the stereotypical Italian local pride, splitting the menu into different foods from different regions. This certainly makes for an interesting menu, featuring dishes from such places as Tuscany, Sicily, Puglia and Emilia Romagna. Dark wooden floors and stylish interior decor help add to the Italian flavour - the pavement tables and stylish chairs aren't distinctly Italian, but are certainly a refreshing break from the usual cafe furniture.
One point worth mentioning is the fact that Provincia serves not only lunch and dinner, but breakfast too. There are a number of different options for breakfast, including carrozza - a savoury French toast filled with mozzarella, tomato and basil. Lunch is a casual affair, with the menu including panini, salads and pastas. You may be able to eat out cheaper elsewhere, but Provincia offers a real slice of Italian cuisine.

40th Birthday Party
Had a section of the restaurant which was on the ground floor just right for the 12 people who attended this dinner. Although not a private room it was a private section with a fireplace. The hosts of the restaurant were very attentive - the food served quickly and hot - and very professional in their approach to their job.
