Okay, it may be a franchise coffee shop, but the first few openings of the juggernaut Canadian cafe chain are anything but generic.Modern and sleek, the crisp black and red colour scheme at Presse Cafe puts it well ahead of its counterparts. True coffee lovers can breathe a collective sigh of relief because the coffee (their own blend and brand) actually tastes good, so there's no need for syrups, whips or frappuccinos to mask the taste of cheap coffee beans.
As far as the food is concerned, Presse keeps things simple and high quality. The uni-bum rush doesn't generally leave much post-lunch, so get in early for pressed sandwiches and freshly baked pastries.
