Postales Spanish Restaurant and Tapas Bar

Traditional Spanish cuisine meets classic Sydney style in this exceptional addition to the inner-city dining scene. Situated in one of Sydney's grandest historical buildings, the GPO Building, Postales Restaurante and Tapas Bar promises an authentic journey into Spanish food, wine and culture in a romantic and relaxing mood-lit setting. Warm red walls envelope the stylish booths and white-tablecloth tables, enlivened by a vibrant mural of a beautiful Spanish dancer in the centre of the restaurant. A live flamenco guitarist strums on Saturday nights, providing a soothing backdrop while you drink sangria or Spanish wine.

Concentrating on seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes, head chef Ben Pichon has carefully crafted a menu of tapas, mains and desserts that celebrates the best of Spain. Specialties include the Albandigas, featuring spicy wild hare meatballs in fresh tomato with wine sauce, and the paella la Postales, a Spanish seafood favourite that's designed to be shared between two (available for dinner only).

Not just another Spanish tapas!
On a very late Thursday evening we thought the GPO would accommodate 2 hungry girls and they did...
The service wasn't great but the food was wonderful. The portions are decent and filling compared to other Spanish tapas around.
Loved the croquettes and beans...the only problem with tapas is that it is very hard to choose.
