Very much a diamond in the rough, Porcino offers deftly crafted Italian fare that, at a reasonable price, still offers plenty of flare. Porcino is a short stroll from Collingwood's burgeoning eat-central, Smith Street.
Occupying a quaint and cosy spot, Porcino is elegantly pared back with the dark-wood chairs and tables providing a soothing contrast to the creme walls. The menu offers plenty of pizza and pasta options as well as heartier mains, from lamb to pork. The wine list offers some reasonably priced drops from both Australia and Italy.

Just what we were looking for
Stumbled across this restaurant a few months ago and finally made time for another visit. Classic tasty Italian with plenty of flavour. Pasta was cooked to perfection and the gnocchi is really something special. Service is informal, warm and friendly. The restaurant is quite small but perfect for intimate meals. Will definitely be going back
